M A R C H   2 0 1 9   |   As humans, we are inclined to crave control and direct the script of our own lives. But what if that’s not how we were intended to live? Psalm 138:8 says that “He will be faithful to accomplish the plan He has for us.” This means that our plans for tomorrow, next month, and even our life are dust; there is only one script for our life, and it lies in the hands of God. It’s difficult to relinquish control and power over our lives, especially when we are convinced that our way is the best way. No matter what His plan is for us, we can rest knowing that He will be faithful to see us through every step, decision, life change, joy, and tragedy. This month, find joy and comfort knowing that the plans for your life have already been perfectly written, and with every step you take, He is there with you.

K A R M A   K E G   |   Thank you to everyone who came out to our Karma Keg fundraising event on February 8! We had 65+ people in attendance and raised over $400 to help us further our mission of glorifying God by impacting and developing people to build up our local community. We are so grateful to everyone who showed their support, especially Brian Holt and the Local Icon’s Little City Brewing who hosted the event.

V A L E N T I N E ‘ S   D A Y   |   Our Valentine’s Day fundraiser was a hit! The OneCompassion team was hard at work on February 14, delivering flower bombs and candy grams from Clayton to Durham, and everywhere in between! Thanks to everyone’s support, we raised over $350 that will go right back into our community!
